At St Basil Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Melbourne, the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every person are our highest priorities. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. We encourage everyone in our church community to remain vigilant and to report any concerns about abuse, neglect, or exploitation. All concerns are treated with sensitivity and confidentiality, and in accordance with applicable safeguarding policies and legal requirements.

People raising a concern can be confident it will be taken seriously and addressed promptly. Together, we can make our community a secure and encouraging place for everyone.
